Ways to do up a long passage way

Do you have a long passage in your new apartment and you are perplexed on how to do it up? Well, here are some tips to help in decorating the foyer and make it look all the more inviting.
Firstly, choose a single bold color for the walls. But if you have a long narrow passage, then light shades would be perfect as the warm colors tend to darken the room. Deck up the walls with family photos scattered in an unplanned manner. If you have dark colored walls, go for the black and white shots. You can also get some nice paintings.
Otherwise, choose to opt for nice wallpapers; striped wallpapers are the best option as per the expert interior designers. Then carve out wall sconces on both sides of passage walls for attractive lighting. Lastly, deck up your passage shelves or centre table with flower vases or a beautiful art piece or pottery.
