      By cooldude | September 23, 2011

Some people have walls that seldom have to be cleaned, they only need to be dusted time to time, and some have walls that are soiled by their “artistic children” or their pets, making the wall eye sore for everyone else. It’s impossible to clean the walls with chemicals time and again as they are not only expensive but also harmful for the walls and the people, so here are a few tips to clean you walls in a natural way.

Mix 1⁄2 cup vinegar, 1 cup clear ammonia, 1⁄4 cup baking soda, and 1 gallon warm water and apply the mixture to the wall with a sponge, if your wall has uneven texture a nylon cloth is a better bet to clean the walls instead of the sponge. Also one should remember to wear gloves, as it is a strong solution.

Also to avoid such a mess on your wall, one should use waterproof paints, so it can be washed of easily, also if something gets spilled on the wall, see to it its rubbed off immediately to stop it from getting stuck on the wall, thus making the whole procedure of cleaning the walls a lot harder than it actually is.
